ECO-eNET Team attends OFC 2024: Optical Fiber Communications Conference in San Diego

The 2024 Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition (OFC) in San Diego has proven to be the epicentre for some of the latest advancements in optical communications, attracting a global audience of over 12,500 attendees from more than 83 countries. And this year, the ECO-eNET team joined this cohorts of experts from this arena.

The 2024 Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition (OFC) in San Diego has proven to be the epicentre for some of the latest advancements in optical communications, attracting a global audience of over 12,500 attendees from more than 83 countries. And this year, the ECO-eNET team joined this cohorts of experts from this arena.

OFC 2024 offered a space for professionals to exchange knowledge, with the exhibition floor filled with discussions about the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in the optical networking industry. Over 630 exhibitors displayed cutting-edge optical technologies, demonstrating the rapid progression in the field and offering a glimpse into the future of communications.

The ECO-eNet team, who came from eight different countries for the conference, took this opportunity to host a partners’ meeting. They discussed the progress of the project, detailed elements of work packages, and the timelines for deliverables.

Their presence at this year’s conference underscores their commitment to leading the charge towards a more connected and efficient future powered by the next generation of network technologies.
